We have been cautioned by a reefer manufacturer of an increasing cases of reefer unit thermal incidents (Fires). The causes are thought to be from improper repair and incorrect use of materials/parts/consumables.
Everybody should ensure that when defrost heater element/s or evaporator coil replacements take place that all aspects of the repair are completed correctly.
